This fixture is a concrete cylinder with a diameter and height of 100 mm. The rough, grey material gives an industrial look and provides a clear contrast with a smooth white ceiling.
Due to the open bottom, the light shines mainly downwards. This makes the fixture suitable as a focused light source above a dining table, a workbench, a staircase or a hallway section, and less so as the sole light source in a large room.
The E27 fitting accommodates a bulb up to 40 W. You choose the light colour yourself: a warm white bulb suits a living room or dining room, a more neutral bulb suits a workspace. Several fixtures next to each other create a calm rhythm above a long table.
Concrete is heavier than metal or plastic, so take this into account when mounting it to the ceiling. The fixture is intended exclusively for indoor use.
