Terms of service
Terms of Service
Welcome to Interior Lighting. These terms of service apply to the use of our website and to orders placed via interior-lighting.eu.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the applicable terms. For consumers, mandatory statutory consumer rights continue to apply.

2. Our products
Interior Lighting offers lighting and related products for both private and business customers.
We do our best to present product information, specifications, images, colours and dimensions as accurately as possible.
Minor differences in colour, finish, material or appearance may occur, for example due to screen settings, photography, production batches or natural material properties.
No rights can be derived from images and lifestyle photos where these serve purely as illustrations.
3. Product information and availability
We aim to keep our website up to date and accurate. However, information, prices or availability may occasionally not be fully up to date.
If a product unexpectedly turns out to be unavailable, we will contact you as soon as possible and discuss a suitable solution.
If an order cannot be fulfilled correctly due to an obvious change in price or information, we reserve the right not to process the order. In that case, any amount already paid will be refunded in full.
4. Prices
All prices are shown in the currency and inclusive or exclusive of taxes as indicated on the website.
Any shipping costs, surcharges or other additional costs are clearly shown before the order is completed.
Prices and terms may differ for business customers.
5. Orders
An order is placed when you have fully completed the ordering process on the website and confirmed the order.
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
Receipt of an order confirmation means that your order has been registered. If a product unexpectedly turns out to be unavailable or there is an obvious error in the price or product information, we may cancel the order under the applicable statutory conditions.
6. Payment
Payment is made using the payment methods made available during the ordering process.
An order is only processed once payment has been successfully received or the chosen payment method provides sufficient confirmation of it.
For business orders, payment on invoice may apply if agreed in advance.
7. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the delivery time stated on the website.
Delivery times stated are indicative, unless expressly stated otherwise.
If an order is delayed, we will try to inform you of this as soon as possible.
For consumers, the risk in the product in principle passes at the moment you, or a third party designated by you, have actually received the product.
Different arrangements may apply to business orders.
8. Inspection on receipt
Please check your order as soon as possible after receipt.
Is the parcel visibly damaged? If possible, take photos of the packaging before opening it.
Is something missing, is there transport damage or have you received the wrong product? Please contact us via:
This does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Returns
For consumers making online purchases, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies in principle.
The full terms for this can be found on our Returns Policy page.
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to business orders, custom work and certain project deliveries.
10. Custom work and project deliveries
In addition to standard products, Interior Lighting also supplies lighting for specific interior and project applications.
If a product is specially produced, assembled or adapted to your specifications, the statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This may, for example, relate to:
-
custom lighting;
-
specially assembled light fittings;
-
products with a specific colour, finish or size;
-
specially produced components;
-
lighting solutions assembled for a specific project.
Where an exception applies, this will be clearly communicated before the order is placed.
11. Warranty and statutory rights
Our products are supplied with the rights provided by applicable consumer legislation regarding conformity and defects.
In addition, a manufacturer may offer a supplementary commercial warranty.
The terms and duration of a manufacturer's warranty may vary by brand and product.
A commercial warranty never limits the statutory rights of consumers.
12. Advice and lighting plans
Interior Lighting may advise customers on product choice, light colour, light intensity, positioning and other aspects of lighting.
Any advice, calculations, lighting plans or recommendations are based on the information provided by the customer and the circumstances known at that time.
Where technical calculations or professional installation are required for a project, we recommend engaging a qualified installer or lighting specialist.
The ultimate suitability of a product for a specific application remains dependent on the actual situation and installation conditions.
13. Installation and safety
Electrical products must be installed safely and correctly.
Have electrical installation work carried out by a qualified person where this is required under applicable regulations or by the nature of the installation.
Interior Lighting is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect installation, improper use, modifications to the product or failure to follow the installation and safety instructions.
14. Intellectual property
All texts, photos, images, logos, designs, product presentations and other content on interior-lighting.eu are the property of Interior Lighting, its suppliers or other rights holders, unless stated otherwise.
It is not permitted to copy, distribute, publish or commercially use content from our website without prior written permission.
15. Use of the website

However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available without interruptions or technical errors.
It is not permitted to use the website for activities that are contrary to the law, these terms or the rights of third parties.
16. Liability
Interior Lighting is responsible for damage to the extent that it can be attributed to us under applicable law.
No provision in these terms of service is intended to exclude statutory consumer rights or to exclude liability where this is not permitted by law.
For business customers, additional limitations of liability agreed in advance may apply, to the extent permitted by law.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal data.
In it, we explain which personal data we process, why we do so and what rights you have.
18. Changes
Interior Lighting may amend these terms of service from time to time, for example when our services or applicable legislation change.
An order already placed is governed by the terms that applied at the time the contract was concluded, unless a statutory obligation provides otherwise.
19. Governing law
These terms of service and contracts with Interior Lighting are governed by the law of the country that has jurisdiction under applicable European and national legislation.
For consumers, this provision does not deprive them of the protection afforded to them by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
