De GIRLARO is een kleine tafellamp met een goudkleurige metalen voet en een glazen kap van 16 centimeter doorsnede. Met 27,5 centimeter hoogte past dit armatuur op een nachtkastje, een vensterbank of een smalle boekenplank.
Het glas laat het licht rondom door en zorgt voor een zachte gloed in plaats van een scherpe bundel. Dat werkt goed als tweede lichtpunt in een kamer waar het plafondlicht te hard is, of als sfeerlicht naast een leesstoel.
Een schakelaar op het snoer van 1,5 meter maakt bedienen eenvoudig. De E27-fitting neemt lampen tot 40 W aan; een filamentlamp met warm licht sluit goed aan bij de klassieke vormgeving.
De goudkleurige afwerking geeft het armatuur een vintage karakter dat past in een klassiek interieur, maar ook opvalt tegen moderne, strakke meubels.
