De GRALARO heeft een handgesneden voet van mangohout in een conische vorm, afgetopt met een linnen kap. Met 49 cm hoogte en een kapdiameter van 35 cm is dit een tafellamp met aanwezigheid, bedoeld voor een dressoir, een zijtafel naast de bank of een ruime werkplek.
Het linnen laat het licht zacht door en dempt de contrasten in de ruimte. Onder de kap komt een duidelijke lichtplek vrij op het blad, geschikt om bij te lezen, terwijl het doorvallende licht door de stof de hoek eromheen mee oplicht.
Omdat de voet met de hand is bewerkt, verschilt de tekening van het hout per exemplaar. De beige uitvoering houdt het geheel rustig en laat het hout het beeld bepalen.
Op het armatuur zit een schakelaar. De E27-fitting is geschikt voor lampen tot 40 W en het armatuur is bedoeld voor binnengebruik.
