De HENTARO heeft een bolvormige basis met daarboven een cilindrische schacht, uitgevoerd in mat gelakt metaal. De geperforeerde zijschijven halen gewicht uit het silhouet en geven het armatuur een herkenbare lijn op een dressoir of een zijtafel.
De conische stofkap van 35 cm doorsnee zorgt voor gefilterd licht. Op een hoogte van 55 cm valt de lichtkring ruim over het blad, wat het armatuur geschikt maakt als leeslicht naast een fauteuil en tegelijk als tweede lichtpunt in de kamer.
Er is keuze uit blauw, beige en groen. Alle drie de uitvoeringen hebben dezelfde witte kap, zodat de kleur in de voet zit en het licht onveranderd blijft.
Op het armatuur zit een schakelaar. De E27-fitting neemt lampen tot 40 W en is bedoeld voor binnengebruik.
