De KELBAVO is een tafellamp met een koepelvormige kap van polycarbonaat, 32 centimeter in doorsnee en even hoog. De vorm is gesloten aan de bovenzijde en open naar beneden, waardoor het armatuur tegelijk als lichtbron en als object op tafel werkt.
Onder de kap zitten vier E14-fittingen. Een deel van het licht valt direct naar beneden op het blad, een ander deel schijnt door het kunststof heen en maakt de hele kap egaal lichtgevend. Dat levert een zacht, diffuus licht op dat geen harde schaduwen geeft.
Elke fitting neemt een lamp tot 20 watt op. Door vier lampen met dezelfde kleurtemperatuur te kiezen blijft de koepel gelijkmatig oplichten.
Het witte polycarbonaat oogt overdag mat en neutraal en licht in de avond op als een halve bol. Dit armatuur staat goed op een dressoir, een eettafel of een brede vensterbank.
