Een keramische voet en een kap van raffia van 350 mm doorsnede vormen hier een contrast tussen glad en ruw. De lamp is 475 mm hoog en weegt ongeveer 1,4 kg, waardoor hij stevig op een dressoir of bijzettafel staat.
De raffia kap laat het licht gedeeltelijk door en geeft de lichtkring een licht getextureerd randje. Recht onder de kap blijft het licht warm en geconcentreerd, prettig naast een zitplek.
Raffia is een natuurvezel, dus kleurnuances en kleine verschillen in vlechtwerk horen bij het materiaal. De E27-fitting is geschikt voor lampen tot 40 W.
De uitvoering is zwart, wat de natuurlijke structuur van de kap juist extra laat opvallen.
