De OSTRARO is een klein armatuur van 14 centimeter hoog, opgebouwd uit een houten voet en een opalen glazen diffuser. Het formaat maakt hem geschikt voor plekken waar een gewone tafellamp te groot is: een vensterbank, een boekenplank of een nachtkastje.
Het opaalglas verspreidt het licht gelijkmatig en neemt de scherpte eruit. U kijkt niet tegen een felle lichtbron aan, maar tegen een egaal oplichtende bol. Dat werkt prettig als nachtlampje of als zacht accentlicht in een zithoek.
Het armatuur heeft een G9-fitting voor lampen tot 12 W en een schakelaar op het snoer van 1,5 meter. Met een warme lichtkleur krijgt het glas een romige tint.
De combinatie van licht hout en opaalglas is typisch Scandinavisch en past in een rustig, licht ingericht interieur.
