De PIRMARO bestaat uit een cilindrische metalen voet met daarop een bolvormige kap van opaalglas. Het armatuur is 20 centimeter hoog en meet 35 centimeter over de kap, waardoor het stevig op een dressoir, een eetkamerbuffet of een brede bijzettafel staat.

Het opaalglas verdeelt het licht rondom en gelijkmatig. Er is geen scherpe bundel en geen harde schaduw: de bol zelf wordt het lichtpunt in de kamer. Dat maakt dit armatuur geschikt als sfeerlicht dat ook zonder aanvullende verlichting aangenaam blijft.

Het armatuur is er in twee uitvoeringen: een matte zalmkleur die warm en zacht oogt, en een neutrale beige die makkelijker opgaat in een rustig interieur. Beide hebben dezelfde opbouw en afmetingen.

Op het snoer van 1,5 meter zit een schakelaar. De E14-fitting is geschikt voor lampen tot 20 W.
