Een tafellamp waarvan de kap is opgebouwd uit gewikkeld katoenen touw rond een metalen frame, 38,5 cm hoog en 25 cm in doorsnede. De opbouw geeft het armatuur een tastbare, ambachtelijke structuur die zichtbaar blijft of de lamp nu aan of uit staat.
Tussen de windingen van het touw ontsnapt licht in smalle banen, terwijl het grootste deel naar boven en beneden wordt geleid. Op een bijzettafel of nachtkastje levert dat een gedempte lichtkring op met een fijn lijnenspel op het tafelblad en tegen de wand.
De beige kleur van het katoen sluit aan bij natuurlijke materialen als hout, linnen en riet. Daarmee past dit armatuur in interieurs waar de nadruk ligt op rustige, ongeverfde tinten.
De E27 fitting neemt lichtbronnen tot 40 W aan. Het snoer is uitgevoerd in wit textiel, wat aansluit bij de afwerking van de kap.
