RIO R is een ronde inbouw wandlamp met een opvallend kleine zaagmaat van 3 cm. Het armatuur verdwijnt daarmee bijna volledig in de muur en laat alleen een randje van 4 cm doorsnede zien. De inbouwdiepte is 5 cm, dus je kunt het ook kwijt in een voorzetwand of een gipsplaten scheidingswand.
De vast ingebouwde LED geeft 70 lumen bij 3 W in een warme 3000 K. De bundel is met 22 graden smal, waardoor je een strak afgetekende plek licht op de vloer of op de wand krijgt in plaats van een brede waas. Dat maakt het effect rustig en precies.
Je zet dit armatuur in als orientatieverlichting op plekken waar je in het donker de weg moet vinden. Een gang naar de slaapkamers, de onderste treden van een trap, een halletje bij de voordeur of een nis in een muur. Op ongeveer 30 cm boven de vloer geplaatst markeert een rij van deze lampjes de looproute zonder dat je de hoofdverlichting hoeft aan te doen. Het armatuur is bestemd voor gebruik binnen.

The required fitting is listed in the specifications. E27 is most common for larger lamps, E14 for smaller models, and GU10 for spotlights. For a replaceable fitting, you can choose whether to order the light source with it, in 2700K warm white or 4000K neutral white. If this fixture has an integrated LED, the light source is fixed.
