RIO SQ O is een vierkante inbouw wandlamp die is gemaakt voor montage in een holle wand of in een nis. Je zaagt een opening van 3 cm en klemt het armatuur vast in het wandmateriaal, waarna alleen een vierkantje van 4 bij 4 cm zichtbaar blijft. De inbouwdiepte is 5 cm, dus een gipsplaten voorzetwand of scheidingswand biedt genoeg ruimte.
De vast ingebouwde LED levert 70 lumen bij 3 W in een warme 3000 K. Met een lichthoek van 22 graden is de bundel smal en gericht, waardoor je een duidelijk begrensd lichtvlak krijgt op precies de plek die je wilt aangeven. De ruimte zelf blijft donker, wat het effect rustig houdt.
Dit armatuur is bedoeld voor orientatieverlichting. Je zet er de looproute in een gang mee uit, je markeert de eerste treden van een trap, je verlicht een halletje bij de voordeur of je geeft in de slaapkamer net genoeg licht om 's nachts de weg te vinden. Doordat het armatuur in de muur verdwijnt, blijft het wandvlak vlak en steekt er niets uit. Het armatuur is bestemd voor gebruik binnen.

The required fitting is listed in the specifications. E27 is most common for larger lamps, E14 for smaller models, and GU10 for spotlights. For a replaceable fitting, you can choose whether to order the light source with it, in 2700K warm white or 4000K neutral white. If this fixture has an integrated LED, the light source is fixed.
