The Fildaro is a plaster wall light with cut-out openings. Light partially shines through these openings, casting a pattern on the surrounding wall surface, in addition to the wider beam of light above and below the fixture.
The plaster has a matte finish and a slight texture, causing the light pattern to fade out gradually instead of sharply cutting off. This creates a subdued light image that is sufficient in an evening setting to make a room legible without being harsh.
This fixture is intended for indoor use and looks best on a flat, even wall where the pattern can be cast: a hallway, a stairwell, a bedroom, or a sitting area. The untreated plaster can be painted in the wall color.
No light source is included. You can choose an E14 bulb yourself, or select a warm or neutral variant with this product and receive the bulb immediately.
